The breakdown is pretty simple, my bills from the accident are over a half million. The pay out from the insurance company of the driver that hit me was $20,000.00. My therapy (Project Walk) is $2800.00 a month and is not covered by Medicaid. My Social Security barely covers my rent. Therapy takes so much devotion and is both physically and mentally exhausting. It is an uphill battle not only to walk but to adapt to new career skills, as I have always had jobs that required as much physical strength as well as mental, and I just cannot stay on the same career path since the accident. This is why I depend on your help.
